The Newest Member of Our Family
Zeke the nocturnal Austrailian Tree Frog is our family's first pet. He's rather quiet and spends most of the day hidden in his moss. Stan is grossed out by him and as of yet hasn't touched him. Israel and Eliza hold him. Julia wants to but I won't let her. Mainly we leave him be, but today we took him out and he climbed our smooth broom handle.

Wow, you are brave! I wouldn't want to hold it. But then again, I'm rather picky. I stop at a fish as a pet.
Fascinating to LOOK at, but I don't want to touch it! =)
What a fun first pet! And tell Stan not to worry about not being man enough to touch the frog....I had to cajole Bryce into touching a sting ray at the aquarium. (Although later he touched a snake with zero prompting from me.)
Just a side note, Zeke is 7 years old and is from Israel's teacher. They're moving to Kentucky and gave away all their pets except their dog. I finally settled in the frog to easy upkeep- keep his water bowl full and feed him crickets approximately every 5 days.
